Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodsen

Eleven year old Lonnie's parents died in a fire. Lonnie was put up for fostering with his little sister Lily. Lonnie and Lily each got foster moms and were separated.  Lily and Lonnie see each other every Saturday. Lonnie is a poet, he writes poetry about a lot of things that he does. Lonnie lives in New York. This book is realistic fiction and its written in poetry.
